With over seven years of clinical experience focused on helping children and families in a private practice setting, I'm excited for the chance to work with you! My strengths and areas of interest include building exciting, effective, and flexible assessment and therapy sessions for children with needs in articulation, pre- and emerging language (late to talk), literacy, speech-sound disorders, developmental language disorder, childhood apraxia of speech, autism spectrum disorder, and social communication. My education spans University of Toronto (M.H.Sc, Speech-Language Pathology), University of Ottawa (M.A. Linguistics) & McMaster University (B.A. Hons.) I obtained my Master of Clinical Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders (Speech-Language Pathology) from Western University. With a wide range of experience working with adults and children of all ages in various areas of speech, language, and feeding, I enjoy helping individuals reach their full potential by providing personalized family-centred services. Committed to evidence-based practice, I continue to advance my professional and clinical knowledge. I have additional training in supporting late talkers, children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, picky eating, and voice disorders. These trainings include The Hanen Centre's It Takes Two to Talk® and More Than Words®, Meaningful Speech™ - Gestalt Language Processing, SOS® (Sequential-Oral-Sensory) Approach to Feeding, and Lee-Silverman Voice Treatment (LSVT LOUD®).
